Taking a two year blogging break has some advantages

Like presenting the evolution of a quilt in one post as if it all came together magically in one weekend.

Which is not the case with the quilt top, a quilt I christened the Majora Quilt for no immediately obvious anatomical likeness. Ahem.

It's been 6 months since I last touched the quilt, folding up the half completed top and stacking the rest of the squares in order.

But yesterday I took it back out, slogged through many hours of assembling 16-patches and... went from this:
