YAY! Go me!

We have a sweater! Wooot!!!!

I did not pee on my sweater.

Pattern: V-Neck Vest from Paton's Next Steps Two (ISBN 1-897272-21-9).
Needles: Aero 4mm and 4.5mm straights, Susan Bates 4.5mm 29" circular.
Yarn: Patons Classic Wool Merino , 100% wool, 2.5 balls Evergreen Mix.
Gauge & Size: 20st and 26r 4" on 4.5mm needles, size small.
Comments: I've been marginally obsessed with the idea of knitting a sleeveless v-neck sweater for quite some time, and with this one I have satisfied that desire. The pattern is easy peasy lemon squeasy, just plain stockinette and ribbing with a few increases and decreases to keep track of, but since the booklet is for beginners your hand is held during the whole process. In an ideal world I would have added a scant inch to the length (when will I learn that no matter what the consensus of pattern writers, 20" from the shoulder just isn't long enough?) but since I'm planning on wearing this over shirts in the fall I don't think the length will be an issue.

Me likey :)
