Jaywalking in Manchester

Thank you to everyone who has sent my Dad well wishes. Thankfully the very scary days are over and we are all into the recuperation stage and I will be leaving Manchester much happier than when I arrived.

In the meantime I've been knitting away at just about anything I can get my hands on. I knitted through the small pile of acrylic I picked up at Oxfam churning out maybe a dozen or so baby hats for Hats for Alex, and through the skein of Trekking XXL I brought with me producing a pair of plain stockinette socks that my Dad's camera feels the need to be unable to focus on. So then what? Then I caught a cold and have been producing snot like you wouldn't believe. Nice.

Or alternatively, then I went to Abakhan's in the Northern Quarter of Manchester City Centre where I picked up a couple of skeins of Kaffe Fassett Regia wool to finally give those darned Jaywalkers a go....

And going they are :)

  1. Your Jaywalkers will look spiffy with that yarn. Glad to hear that your Dad is doing better!
