On to the next unphotographable green thing

I'd barely finished seaming up my lace tank when another green tank jumped on my needles.

No, I'm not colorblind but my camera is. This is the Emerald Seas pattern from Knitty Summer '07 in "Leapfrog" Knit Picks shine sport. That means it's green not gray. Trust me. So far it's flying along and I'm pretty much up to the arm decreases on the front after just two days. Granted that was two days of sitting on my butt and knitting, but still two days. I'm loving the Shine too. It's the first time I've used it and I'm surprised at how soft and shiny it is, so much so that I keep stopping knitting to pet it which does elicit some funny looks. I'm foreseeing a trip to M&J Trimmings for ribbon in the not so distant future...

at le pain q yesterday, i could have sworn you were using the exact same yarn as for the tank! i knit the tivoli with shine ages ago; it really does stay that soft, and comes out of the wash really supple. It was a bit hard on my finger, though, when knitting.

  2. What can I say? I don't want to call it a colour rut, so how about I'm in a colour groove right now. All green all the time!

  4. that's some serious color distortion, there. I went to the Knitpicks site to see the "Leapfrog" and, yes, I do believe that will be a very flattering color for you (much more so than the shade of 'industrial waste' as seen in this photo). Another knit comes flying off her needles, folks...:)

  5. Heh. It does look disgusting in this picture, like, why would anyone willingly dress themselves in that colour. But believe me, it's green!
