The seven hours of knitting I did this afternoon? I'll give you a clue, it isn't the extra inches added since last you saw it, it's not even the sewn picot hems and woven in ends. Nuh huh...

Take a look at the left sleeve cap. Yeah, that, those few measly little rows took me an entire afternoon. OK, so I may have stopped for the odd cup o' Joe and cookie, but seriously that's all I have to show for my Saturday.

I guess I could have made life easy for myself by employing Google to find out how exactly one attaches a sleeve to a top-down raglan, but since nothing in my life seems particularly easy at the moment, I figured I may as well try to muddle through it as best I could. Four rips and some quick basting stitches later and by Jove I think she's got it!! It's the little victories that keep us going.

That and yarn.
