Sorry your day crapped out. But excellent decision to buy yarn. Did you buy online or in person? Whatdidya buy? While I'm not a yarn buyer per se, I do enjoy the vicarious joys of seeing what OTHER people bought.
So, I got 12 skeins of Lambs Pride plus a couple of skeins or Wildfoote sock yarn from here: http://www.thesheepshedstudio.com/carolssuperspecials.html BEWARE!! Dangerously low prices are to be found there. Don't tell me I didn't warn you!
I also bought 8 skeins of the new Berroco Peruvia from webs (www.yarn.com) which are destined to become a Killybegs jacket from Debbie Bliss' Donegal Tweed book. It's more yarn the pattern specified but due to webs "get 20% off when you spend $60", they actually paid me to buy the last two skeins. Nice people.
Unfortunately my yarn wont arrive for a couple of days, online shopping is my panacea, but I'll post pictures when it does :)
