Although I'm sort-of-maybe starting to have reservations about the suitability of this yarn for this project, I'm forging ahead in the blind hope that it softens during the block. You are a MAD crazy fast knitter. Or you have more time on your hands than I do...darn. What yarn are you using?
ReplyDeleteHmmm, in terms of time spent knitting so far I think I'm at about 12 or 13 hours. Is that fast? I say it's due to knitting continental and liking sitting around in my jammies on Sunday's catching up on the week's TV.
ReplyDeleteThe yarn is Classic Elite Skye Tweed in Spruce that I scored off the destash blog. At $40 for 11 balls including shipping, it was a steal!
I hope the yarn softens up - it looks great so it would be a shame to have it be too scratchy to wear.
ReplyDeleteI want to sit in my jammies and knit. Can I call in sick to my life and just knit?
ReplyDeleteWho am I kidding. I knit a lot during the day, I just don't knit as fast as you. Maybe I need more caffeine?
