Found: My Knitting Mojo

It was beginning to look like my bright start with the CPH was fast becoming a damp squib. A lack luster attempt at getting everything blocked, a crawl up the hood's 11 inches and don't even get me started on how many attempts it took to pick up all those edge stitches for the button bands....

*sigh*

But then I decided to pick out some buttons from my vintage collection and once again all is right with the knitting world, courtesy of wooden toggles that no doubt started their life on one of my childhood woollen coats.

A little bit more knitting and a whole heap of seaming to go, but soon I'll have another FO to show. Hurray for buttons!

  1. Buttons with a past, how cool! I still have yet to knit myself a sweater and you've made a gazillion. Boy, do I feel like a loser!

  2. Are you going to the secret sock party? Can we see the CPH in person?

  3. I have been on a bit of a sweater kick lately, haven't I? Although for every finished sweater I show here there's another one lurking in the shaddows looking ugly and feeling unloved... I feel the need to rip rip rip a few of the unsightly ones but I think I might just have to do a show and tell on here first so that y'all understand that I'm not that much of a machine!

Mz Kwooz, I didn't sign up for the secret socks because I am a selfish knitter. The only socks I ever gave away were because I somehow had shrunken feet in England and when I got back to the States they were too small for me. I have, however, given away three sweaters to my mother. But shhh, don't tell her it's because in the end, they were just too big for me!
