Miniature Knitting

On a random wander through blogland last night I came across Brigid's blog and her appeal for knitted baby goods to be sent to Uganda.

Now that I can do! Part of the Adorn goodie bag I won was a couple of skeins of Wool-Ease and a random ball of Moda Dea Psycho Sassy Stripes which will soon be looping their way into hats and booties and all many of things miniature. Like this:

Pattern: Kim's Hat (basic roll brim) from Last Minute Gifts.

Yarn and Needles: Moda Dea Psycho Sassy Stripes and Knit picks 3.75mm dpns.

Yay! I can knit again!

Also.... there's something seriously wrong with my face, I hope the wind doesn't change and I get stuck this way, I mean that would be terrible. I. Can't. Stop. SMILING! :) :) :)

Guess who had a lovely lunch with the BSD and got her Ravelry invitation today today?

  1. I'm pretty sure that excess smiling doesn't add weight to one's frame so SMILE ON! Good knitting and good times with a BSD--what's not to smile about?

  4. Hi! Thanks for the comment. This hat is so beautiful. I've never tried fair isle knitting before, but this is just stunning.

  5. Oh the joys of self-striping yarn, no fair isle skill involved at all!
