Happy New Year!
I never really understood when people said that they were glad to see the back of whichever year had just past, but maybe this year I am starting to see why. 2008 was a hard year, with my Dad's illness, the eviction, the bed bugs, the headache of organising the student retreat, the thesis proposal defense... But it's also been a good year filled with trips around the UK and to Europe, with good friends and laughter in New York, and as always... there has been knitting. Oh boy has there been knitting.
2 hats, 3 gnomes, 3 cowls, a pair mittens, 4 cardigans, 3 scarves, 2 sweaters, 2 baby jackets, 2 shells, 6 pairs of socks, a zillion baby hats and a blanket (plus some other tings that wouldn't fit in the mosaic!) Not bad!
